Interesting Facts About Saturated Fat & Why I Don't Avoid Natural Sources I usually get a lot of blank stares when I share my thoughts on the facts about saturated fat. Especially since most people think it's so bad for you. In fact, their very surprised to know that I eat it every day via many natural foods. Some people think I'm low carb, others think I'm low fat, and lastly some assume I only eat vegetables. Wrong, wrong, and a big "are you kidding me" for the veggie only assumption (no offence to all the vegans out there). I follow a balanced diet consisting of protein, carbs, and fats. However, there are three foods high in saturated fats that I eat almost every day that shocks a lot of people. To be honest, it doesn't surprise me that most people perceive these foods as being unhealthy. I mean, if you listen to the mainstream media and certain "in the spotlight" health professionals, they're always telling you how bad these foods are...
